Trump "did not sign" the letter or "draw a picture" for Epstein

The White House assured this Monday that Donald Trump "did not sign" a letter, nor "draw a picture" addressed to Jeffrey Epstein, following a complaint made by Democrats in Congress.

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt denounced on social media the “ false information intended to fuel the Democratic conspiracy ” surrounding the relationship between Donald Trump and the sexual assaulter.

The latest piece published by the Wall Street Journal PROVES this entire “Birthday Card” story is false.

As I have said all along, it's very clear President Trump did not draw this picture, and he did not sign it.

President Trump's legal team will continue to aggressively…

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released a sexually suggestive letter to Jeffrey Epstein on Monday, allegedly signed by the current President of the United States , which Donald Trump denies.

Trump had previously stated that he did not write the letter, nor did he create the drawing of a curvaceous woman in that letter addressed to Epstein, a sex offender with whom the Republican tycoon maintained close relationships for decades.

The head of state had already filed a $10 billion (€8.5 billion) lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal for publishing a report on the alleged letter.

In July, the newspaper reported that among the letters Epstein received for his 50th birthday in 2003 was one with Trump's name and a drawing of a nude woman. The illustration contained breasts and the word "Donald" in the pubic hair area.

According to the newspaper, Epstein's former assistant, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for being an accomplice to the tycoon, collected letters from Trump and other Epstein associates to include in an album as a gift.

Democrats received a copy of Epstein's 50th anniversary album on Monday as part of a batch of documents from the sex abuser's estate.

The letter released by the committee looks exactly like the one described by The Wall Street Journal in its report.

The document, bearing Trump's name and signature, includes text framed by a hand-drawn outline of what appears to be a curvaceous woman. "A friend is a wonderful thing. Happy birthday—and may each day be a wonderful secret," the letter reads.

After the letter was released, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor Budowich posted photos of Trump's signature on the social media platform X and identified The Wall Street Journal's parent company, News Corp., writing: "It's time for News Corp to open the checkbook, the signature is not his. DEFAMATION!"

The death of Jeffrey Epstein, found hanged in his prison cell, fueled numerous conspiracy theories—particularly within the MAGA movement, which supports Donald Trump—that he was murdered to prevent revelations about high-profile figures.

The release of the letter comes at a time of bipartisan pressure in Congress to release the so-called Epstein files, following years of speculation and conspiracy theories.

Calls for the release of the records came from Republicans, including now-Vice President JD Vance, before he assumed the nation's second-highest office.

However, in early July, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) indicated that there was no evidence of a "client list" blackmailed by Epstein, and that the pedophile's death in federal prison was a suicide. This conclusion sparked a crisis among Donald Trump's allies and voters.

Epstein committed suicide in a Manhattan jail in New York while awaiting trial in 2019 on charges of sexually abusing and trafficking dozens of underage girls.

Trump's ties to Epstein are well documented, although the President has maintained that he had no knowledge of or involvement in the crimes and that he ended their friendship decades ago.
